How to manage business operations with Team Logins and Defined Roles

Running a small business can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. With the Teams module in the Misto Business App, you can streamline your operations by bringing team members onboard and clearly defining who does what.

No more juggling everything in your business by yourself. With Misto, you can delegate confidently, stay in control, and focus on growing your business. Let’s dive in.

1. Begin adding your team and get organized

Start by tapping the Teams icon from your Dashboard.
You’ll see your profile listed as the Super Admin. This means you’re in charge of all settings, roles, and access permissions.

From here, you can:

  • Add team members
  • Assign them specific roles
  • Define exactly what they can access and control

This helps you run your store more efficiently, whether you’re managing products, orders, inventory, or customer conversations.

2. Create roles that match your workflow

Go to the Roles section. You can use existing role templates or create your own from scratch. Just add:

  • Role name and description (like “Inventory Manager” or “Order Handler”)
  • Permissions: Decide whether they can view, add, edit, or delete products, collections, orders, inventory, and more.

You can give full access or limit visibility to just the modules relevant to their role.

3. Add team members with login access

Now, head to Add Team:

  • Upload a photo (optional)
  • Assign their role
  • Enter their name, phone number, and email ID
  • Toggle Active User to give them app login access

Before you do this, keep in mind that:

  • Team login access is available for the Standard plan and above
  • Elite plan users can invite up to 10 active team members
  • If you have more than 10 people in your team, contact Misto Business Support for a custom upgrade
